While working remotely has become necessary to stay safe, it’s made the perfect environment for cybercriminals to thrive. The good news is that we know where the threats are. The bad news is that the threats are increasing. Making sure all networks employees are connecting to are safe is a tough job for cyber and network security workers. While cybersecurity teams are getting burnt out, the threats have kept coming.
The most important tips I can give you are these: Make sure you have your processes, software, and protocols assessed by a professional. Make sure you have both a cybersecurity and mitigation plan in place. And make sure you devote time to training your staff on the best practices – they are the front line for protecting your business.
